Very strange. I could order 2 sets together with the Braille dollar today.
However, once the system accepted the order the status is shown as:
2009 LINCOLN 2-ROLL SET "BIRTHPLACE" (LP1) Qty 2 @ $8.95 - Product not available.

What are the chances that the mint decides to make more and start selling them again?

Well just now looked at the MINT web site the 2009 Cent rolls state SOLD OUT in big red letters WOW never thought that would happen. I did order 5 rolls the 1st day but as stated they will probably be available again in a couple weeks.

I am not surprized! That's a serious amount of demand and virtually no coins in the marketplace. If you think they're going to make and sell more you're living in fantasy land. At this point the mint is busy with the type 2 coin and the 95% copper versions. Type 1 is DEAD, if you snoozed, you losed and you're now at the mercy of the free market. I guarantee you'll soon see these on ebay at 2x or higher than than the issue price. Thank God I ordered 5 sets!

I ordered my 3 Sets the first day as well.......hope I get em' ! It'll only be 20 years from now when I'll consider selling stuff......Ebay or otherwise....but I hope the value keeps climbing ! Long after the "newness" has waned, THAT'S when I hope that the double and/or triple premiums over issue price will hold or even continue to increase...... But too often, once the excitement has died down, so does the market price.... Any predictions or thoughts on the future with these two Set rolls ?.....the near future and the 20 year distant future ?

Folks these are bubbles waiting to be burst. They are cents and they minted hundreds of million of them! I'd watch the market and sell most of them out if you have them- while they are still hot. Once they cool off, then I'll buy them for a reasonable price.

I didn't realizes everyone could get so excited about paper wrapping. I thought we buy this stuff for the coins. I'll get mine from the bank.

It is like buying a nice car, having it delivered in a shipping container, and never opening it!
