Just an update on this. Seller is north-east-auction.
Coins arrived and were not uncirculated. I contacted seller and they responded and sent me a return label, which was sent out and picked up from the post office on July 25th. As of August 8th there has been no refund issued and no response to my email requesting a status update. Spent $205 for nothing because that is what I got. If you are looking to purchase from this seller you better be careful.

One benefit of ebay is that you can always get a refund even if sellers refuse to cooperate.

The only way I'd buy on ebay is if the seller was one of our members

I wouldn't totally discard ebay as a source of collectables ... that being said, there is a good amount of fraud evident in their offerings ... here's a good example ... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1861403822...231029034421 ... this coin will fool a lot of unsuspecting buyers who don't realize that it's a modern, CNC milled fake (I've contacted the seller & let him know..) ... ...that being said, there's a lot of honest folks offering there (myself included ... 25 years with 100% positive feedback) ... & those folks sometimes make honest mistakes ... ...do your diligence, research the seller's feedback ... if they have negatives, r ead them & see if the complaint is valid ... look & analyze their listings, contact them with questions ... know what you're buying ...
