Whatever the given grade, it is a gorgeous coin. Well done.

Hard to tell what scratches are on the slab vs the coin. Seems like a PF-65 if most scratches are on the holder.

"Hard to tell what scratches are on the slab vs the coin."

I concur. I was able to determine that the face scratches are on the plastic, but even with the coin in hand I'm not entirely sure about the light ones on the reverse.

I'd hoped to fetch $1750 for it, but thus far not much excitement about it on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/285397714954

DON'T SELL the coin on ebay in auction format! Sell at fixed price!
Conversely, send to GC. More action there I think.

Remember that ebay is a last minute auction site. Meanwhile I advanced the bid for you.

I was at the same grade, a nice coin. Next time give us a little more time please? 48 hours is standard before the reveal. That said I think it's a good coin to go to Great Collections, Ian is a good guy to do business with, fair and fast.

Very nice looking coin , I didnt throw a guess because I thought I recognized the coin.
I've been looking for a nice proof barber example, sadly this one is a little out of my price range, best of luck to you on your auction.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?
