allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 808 Posts	Posted 07/28/2023 5:00 pm Today I went to the bank and got my usual weekly coins. 6 rolls of pennies, a roll of Nickels, Dimes &Quarters for my coin hunt. I opened the first roll of pennies and out came all Lincoln shield cents! I said an expletive and searched through the 49 LSC and found one dark colored penny! So I said ok to myself and put it in the microscope field. Guess what, a 1902 Indian Head cent. First one I have ever found in 4 years. A 121-year-old penny! So what if it's bang up and got a couple of rim hits. It's a real beauty to me in spite of the wear and tear. Can't see Liberty on the headband on the obverse but the feathers are there.
