Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 07/29/2023 3:17 pm to the CCF! The filled area on the 9 is a die chip. ' Cud' refers to a broken die and involves the rim of the coin. It shows as a raised area on the side with the broken die and can cause an area of weakness on the opposite side because of the metal flow into the Cud.
