Can you guess which coin is 90% silver, is the coin labeled "L" or the coin labeled "R"?

In the 2nd picture why is the red "R" on the left coin and the red "L" is on the right coin?

Makes no sense at all to me but maybe I'm just stupid.

If both of these are 196X Kennedy half dollars, each contains silver.

After copying the picture and rotating in 90º, I don't see any major differences which would distinguish a '64 from a later '60s Kennedy half. The one you have labeled "R" does seem to have brighter reeding, so I'll say that is the 90% one.

1). Thanks for clearing up the "L" and "R" discrepancy and labeling the picture correctly. Glad I'm not as stupid as I thought I was.

2). I'll go with the "R" as the 90% coin just as a pure guess. Absolutely no basis as to why, either.

3). to The Community!
