Everything that I've seen says that there is no error no noted error for this coin does anyone know if this still stands true.

Thank you for that link. You the funny thing is that the circle there is the size of a nickel . I'm trying to get better pics. My camera is horrible

I agree with the wishing well event or also might have been in a cup holder in a car then soda or some type of liquid was spilled on nickel and quarter under it? In any case, it is just a stain.

 to CCF,  that this is PMD, it appears that another coin has covered most of the coin and the exposed portion has been eroded somehow.
