I think this coin is an easy XF-40 and wouldn't be scandalized by a 45. Very nice original look, as well.

Photograde can be a great resource, but it's not always apples to apples when comparing different years from different mints. Either way I think it's a nice example of a date which can actually be harder to find in well circulated grades.

Have you checked the die marriage?

i was at 30 on this piece for a number of reasons. I'm thinking whomever slabbed this took into consideration some light strike issue. its hard to tell what they look at and assess that for different series. they may have also gave it a tad bump for the overall eye appeal
