Hi Everyone,
Not sure my previous post made it. It's gone so I'm posting again.

I have a 1941 Lincoln with a weight of 2.40 grams and a strange surface. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?
Thank you for your help!

Yes it does except my other woodies have a flat surface. This one is not. It's like something was drug across both sides of the coin creating little fissures.

I'm thinking it's a planchet issue not unlike a lamination issue--in this case manifested as a 'dense' pattern of subtle fissures on the surface.
