Hello fellow collectors and hunters! I found this in a box of brand new 2023 Eleanor Roosevelt quarters. This is the only potential error I found in the whole box. From my research this appears to be a partial collar. But being that I'm new to this and never seen a partial collar in person, I wanted a second opinion. Also, if this is PC would like to know if it's worth grading? Thank you in advance! Will happily provide more photos if requested!

Neat find! For future reference, hold coins by the edge, not the obverse or reverse. This puts fingerprints on the coin which won't come off after a while. Give this one a soak in acetone and put in a half dollar sized 2x2 so you can still see the edge.

Awesome! Thank you guys for the information! I will definitely give this a soak and put it in a 2x2.

Very nice, but don't hold it by the fields like that! Only hold a coin by the edges with clean hands!

Great find! This is a tougher error to recognize, so impressive spot for a newer collector.

As for grading, not going to be worth the cost, but still a very nice error coin well worth saving in a 2x2.

A good find and I'm glad to hear that you are placing it into a 2x2 for storage.

Good that you are placing it in a 2x2, but the problem with a 2x2 in this case is that you will be hiding the very thing you would want to show off.. I wonder if a clear capsule would be a better option here.

Dearborn, I actually have like 70 coin capsules in the mail for my 1oz rounds. Might consider figuring something out with one of those. It comes with foam inserts to secure it

Must have been read over, but in my first post I said to put it in a half dollar sized 2x2, so you can still see the edge. That is what I have done for some coins, put it in a 2x2 for a larger coin to see all the details of the coin.
