Your 1935 dollar looks like it has been cleaned in the past, judging by remaining black tarnish splotches on the unreachable areas (like the letting & denticles) of the coin.

The 1937 dollar is quite possibly uncleaned judging by the even toning of the coin. It looks like it has several dings on the edge, but was lightly circulated judging by the high detail in King George VI's hair.

The 1935 has been cleaned ... it's hard to tell if they left scratches or rub marks to make it "harshly" cleaned though. The 1937 looks okay from the reverse.

Yes by the look of the 1935 REV this coin was cleaned if you look around the rim where the letters are you can see a big difference lost of dirt, the 1937 was also cleaned same dirt trace between the letters.

Mornin' Simon, I've always found the best way to determine if a coin has been cleaned is simply to hold it in direct sunlight and tilt it from side to side. If it has been improperly / harshly cleaned there will appear hairlines on the surface of the coin.
The larger the coin, the easier it is to tell, especially when viewing the fields. The thin lines that you will find that are consistent with a cleaning (rubbing with a cloth) will show up as fine lines generally running in one direction throughout the surface of the coin. Also keep in mind, advanced collectors will never knowingly buy a "cleaned" coin since it's value depreciates by over 1/2.
This is one of the reasons I urge collectors to purchase graded pieces, especially when investing amounts greater than $50.00, it offers protection for the buyer. And best of all, when it comes time to sell, graded Canadian coins from company's such as I.C.C.S. and P.C.G.S always sell at a higher premium than raw coins or coins from other T.P.G. firms.
I currently have three I.C.C.S. silver dollar$ for sale on E-bay you may consider. They fall under the E-bay I.D.> glenzy1 which includes FREE shipping. Good luck!

It's odd, glenzy1 ... when I click the link to view your items for sale I get the following message from ebay

Quote:
This seller is not currently offering any items for sale.
