I have this one as a place holder in my collection--I like this one, though. I think PCGS got it right myself, if a bit on the conservative side, but pretty spot on. I am interested to see what you guys think. Eventually I want an MS one :).

Quote: I have this one as a place holder in my collection That is quite the placeholder! I say high VF range, try VF35. Lovely example.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

I'll say EF-40, just a stab.

Gorgeous coin indeed! High VF sounds about right, wouldn't rule out EF either but that's probably not what the slab says.
I wonder if it was overstruck... lots of weird undertype-like details on the sundial side. But they could just be particularly weird flow lines or something.

I think it is die clashing that you see on the obverse :)

this is what you need pristine2.
looks XF to me and a little better than a 40 but i'll say PCGS called it 40

To me this one looks better than most of the EF(40) ones I've seen slabbed by both PCGS and NGC. I like it for the grade, but the time will come when I want a nicer one :).

Nice... congrats on the grade. I thought PCGS would have dinged it for something
