I was shopping for some bullion and came across this ebay listing. Pics don't look right at all, the portrait surfaces are so smooth, no detail at all. So I bookmarked the item for reference. Thoughts on this piece? Is it a variety I've never seen before or an Alibaba special?

Hmmmm. Besides looking like all effigy details have been polished off, it has the QEII reverse with the George III obverse.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
