I would like to hear thoughts on where this coin would grade. I'm interested to hear if the reverse rim is enough to give it a details grade. Thanks!

HumblePie, that's a beautiful deuce! I love the repunched date. There may be the slightest bit of wear at some of the the high points - the laurels and WE. And the bashos at R4 and especially R11 really hurt. AU58

Uhhhh this coin has no luster and looks to have been treated with Verdicare or similar product. XF-40 with a fat rim ding, straight grade.

I did have to conserve this coin. I probably should have waited a full day or so after the verdicare treatment before taking the grading photos.

Here are the before photos.

Also, here are in-flip photos that I just took with my cam. I do let the coin sit out and fully dry 24hrs plus before putting the coin in a flip.

i have it right between 55 and 58 and due to the sharpness of the devices i'd say its enough to pull AU58. the ding doesn't impinge past the denticles so it has a good chance of a straight holder imo

After looking at some AU coins, I'm in the EF45 camp. Wear at the bottom of the shield on obverse, arrow tips are flattened by wear. Leaves show wear, particularly on right obverse. Reverse leaves show wear. All that said, I love the RPD!
