First, , and we can certainly help you!

Aside from a few known doubled die obverse varieties known, your cent appears normal except for the planchet. The planchet had an improper mixing of the metals during its manufacture, leading to what we see, and we collectors call these 'woodies', since these coins can have a wood-grain appearance. These can be quite minor to very dramatic in appearance...

I agree with it being a "woody". As to value,to the right person it will have a small premium over face/melt value.
