1988 Lincoln Memorial Cent With 30% Indent Obverse

Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 09/02/2023 12:02 am This LMC was struck with another coin or planchet overlapping about 30% of the obverse. The extra metal in the striking chamber left not just the obverse indent, but also caused heavy distortion and splitting of the copper plating on the reverse.
