I will post here an default planchet before was plated. It is not US coin, it is Canadian and made more rare. It is an 25 cent 2022 CAN. I think it is a very good example of a planchet before the plating.

I try my best for the photo not been at home or my office but in Deep forest. I hope help as education.

lol. yeah, bears tend to sleep under my deck. one time a momma bear and her cubs came rolling out. she was so small. I've never seen a momma that small, but she was a good mamma and ran off with her cubs. that's the smartest thing mommas can do to keep their cubs safe.

When you have a chance could you please post full pics of both sides of the coin.

I had a close encounter of the furred kind a couple of weeks ago.
Mom and cubs are cute until you inadvertently come between them.
Bears are fearsome animals, give them the respect they deserve.

PS
I live in bear country and know the answer to the old saw "does the bear @#$% in the woods ?".
He doesn't, he @#$%s in my driveway because my neighbor won't pick all her fruit.

@ shathe: pay attention with Racoons because they carry Red Worm spores and if humans breath will localize in the liver and it is not treatment for this and it is lethal. the fecals contain the more.

Strange Bear and Racoons. The Bear it is friendly to humans but they do not accept Racoons and Coyotes and this because the both will chase the hubs.

Silvio, I think you mean roundworm, not red worm. The roundworm is Baylisascarus procyonis and is not something you would want to get in you.
