I have come across a 1948
Franklin half dollar in my collection that has an error I have never seen on a Franklin before. I've spent many hours researching this error but have not found anything about it and was hoping maybe someone here could help me out a bit. The coin is mint state FBL a beautiful coin, but it looks like the coin got struck on franklins face with letters of "of America" that are struck in the reverse. I have some photos that I'll try to post. Thank you!
