What is your question? The texture of your coin looks like it is a fountain coin.

Listen there was no question I said it was a cool quarter and no it wasn't a fountain fine it was in the dirt and it weighs 5.05 G dude it was just a cool looking quarter

This is a forum for error and variety coins, so if you're posting knowing that it's not an error or variety, it's on the wrong page. Try posting on the main US coin page of the forum.

it does have a nice texture on it - I'll place a bet that the soil it was found in was a bit acidic and corroded it.
