I could really use some help here.
The coin weigh's 3.0g and the color is not copper but silvery.

The dark worn areas on rim, cheek and chin tells me it is plated.

I am thinking mercury rubbed because if plated it might weigh more than 3.0 grams. Mercury rubbed would add little if any weight.
