Nice finding a 2009-P in only a box worth of coins - a more exciting find to me than the Buffalo, actually, as they're about 2 1/2 times harder to find based on my experience.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Well John77 your right about the scarce 2009, But, the week before, I found 3 2009's, and their condition was really circulated. It is hard to find a quality sample in coin roll hunting.

Excellent finds, looking to take 1-2 boxes home tonight myself. Is there a good place to find a search list, I have not searched nickels before, just halves and quarters.

Eureka!!! Happy to report my third customer wrapped nickel hunt hoard dump. I went on Friday to my Bank that is very friendly to me. They were anxious to get rid of nickels they just received. I gladly asked for all they had. They forked over $128 worth in a full box and 14 rolls. A grand total of 385 pre 1960 nickels and 2 silver War Nickels and a1927 Buffalo. Whew. Now I have to put them in their respective mint tubes and count them up. Back to work. |
