I understand that to analyze the value of this coin, I will need to determine the VAM attribution. But grade seems to be a good starting point.

Cool, I can take a guess at an anomaly in the Morgan series where lower grades like yours are not terribly valuable, except when one has an AU coin or higher where the value skyrockets to insanity levels in mint state...

I can comfortably put this coin at an VF-25ish to my eyes

i don't do VAMs but the coin falls in the VF25-30 bucket. I'm leaning VF30
