Could anyone please tell me if both of these 1960D pennies have a " Cud" error? Or if not possibly tell me what is the correct term or if they are actually errors? Thank you in advance..

A Cud is formed when the edge of a die breaks, causing a blob-like formation on the outer edge of the coin.
These are die chips resulting from a broken post in the area of the letters. Not errors, but rather classified as "die events". No appreciable numismatic premium, as they are not uncommon.

Yes die chips. When they occur at the bottom of the letter R as in your second example, this is sometimes referred to a "skirted R". Also, these are due to the overuse and wearing out of the die used to strike these cents rather than being a mint error.
