Definitely worth protecting in a 2x2. Did you find this in your spare change? If so, that would be quite something.

Looks to me like the attribution is CU-1c-ND-05 (Zn):

My friend Don Bosner had this variety in one of his sales here is a screenshot of it and what it sold for.

Took me a bit to find it as it wasn't labeled as a Cud but a major die break. Figure it is pretty much a minimum of $50 to buy anything at auction from Heritage with the fees and shipping and minimum bid amount. But this is a major error so I'd put the price at $20 to $50 depending on how bad someone wants it.

Don's example was much nicer than this one too. Anyways hope this helps answer your question, "What's it worth?" as much as someone is willing to pay of course.
