Hello, fellow coin aficionados! I've encountered two interesting coins and I'm eager to hear your insights. I've attached images for your consideration.

First up, we have a 1990P penny with an intriguing quirk in the letter "I" of "liberty." I'm curious if it's a case of doubling and would love to hear your thoughts.

On a separate penny, I've spotted some additional material in the word "liberty." Could this be a BIE error? Your expertise is greatly valued in shedding light on these coin curiosities. Thanks for your contributions!

First coin looks like it has some sort of plating issue. Second coin could be just damage, or the start of a BIE.

Not seeing a doubled die,you need to check all three reference sites for a match and let us know what you find on every coin you think might be a doubled die.
Not seeing a BIE either.

Interesting. Please post full, large and sharp pics of the entire coin--obverse and reverse. This is helpful in establishing the full context of what we're looking at. Thanks.

This appears to be DDD. Full coin images are also very helpful in diagnosing coins.
Also when introducing coin for evaluation, please only one coin per topic please. It reduces confusion on which coin is being replied to.
