1983 Jefferson Nickel Error

The reverse side looks like Monticello was struck twice, only upside down. The area with the error is also raised a bit, as if two coins were struck together. I'm kinda new to this, so I'm curious if anyone recognizes the error and if it might be worth anything more than .05? Found it in a roll

Appears that two nickels were glued together then pulled apart. Soak it in acetone and the new image will dissolve.

All you have to do is look at the 2 images and know the 1 underneath shows by far more ware than the one on top . That would defy all the rules of common sense to me this definitely happened after it left the mint

You are very correct, 2 coins were stuck together at some point, then separated. the left over you see is glue residue holding the pattern of the other coin.
A nice acetone soak should soften it up for easy removal.
