Hello everyone,

Wish you everyone all the best.
If there is someone more educated in coins, can you please help me or give advice ?
I own Gold Indian 10$ coin y.1915.
It is without mark, so I found it was mint in Philadelphia.
For coin was created gold frame to be able wear it like pendant.
Indian head is minted upside down versus eagle.
Thank you very much for informations and responses

Please crop, sharpen and enlarge your pics, orienting them right-side up.

It may be mounted so that the eagle is upright in the bezel and the sides are oriented based on coin turn. That means if you flip the coin around the other side is upside down.

Since it's mounted, it would likely only be worth bullion value even if genuine.

Same comments. One mounted, a gold coin in particular usually shows signs of this after being removed, which typically (not always) renders it a bullion coin.

Agreed with Coinfrog. Most likely a bullion coin.

Some Jewelry guys I know will look at Gold coins and decide if it can't be graded because of damage (your reverse looks like it has scratches), will place it in a pendant.
Maybe the case here too...?

I think it could be easily remove. In fact 1 of the four clasps is already broken off. Since it has clasps, it was not likely soldered into the bezel.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for opinions.
Yes it can be removed from frame without problem.
It is not fused to coin.
And there shouldnt be marks when ot is removed from frame.
So it can have higher price than just bullion coin?
Thank you for opinions.
