This coin has the patina of a proof coin it's very shiny the pictures don't do it justice at all! But does anyone else see the S ?

Yes, I see a broken post (die chip) issue, with a touch of light circulation flattening and a circulation ding/hit.

For 1979-d this filled mint mark is very common also 1978 compared to other dates. If you search 1979-d on the search here should confirm this. But recently I went through a 3 rolls of this year and maybe 18-20 where filled. People how ever do try to sell these on ebay and the likes.

You can rule out a OMM, they stopped in 1955 I think.

Yeah, a lot of D mint marks 1975-1979 were filled due to a broken post. Also, some seemed like the D was shallow but they got punched deeply. Then when the mint mark weathered in circulation, it arrived at a filled mint mark appearance.
