No extra reverse strikes makes me think this is a soft die job.

Yeah, that coin just feels wrong.

For starters, how often is the second strike also correctly centered in the collar? This example is rotated a specific amount without any x-y translation. Is that common? If so, why no damage to the reverse?

If the angled strike is the second strike, then why weren't more details obliterated on the primary strike?

I'm not familiar with these types of errors, I am just going by what you guys have posted in prior threads, and asking questions.

Looks off for sure. The second Lincoln face is no good, looks totally fake.
With that said, who knows what this is........

Interesting. Might be worth a few cents just for the skill.

I'm thinking these would be a hard sell. I take that back, someone will buy it.

I agree with Brand - unless the obverse die itself rotated on its own and the coin didn't leave the collar and couldn't rotate.

If this were a 'vise job' why isn't Liberty reversed and incuse? (same with the weak second date and the top of the second head and face..)

This sure is an odd one to be certain.

Edit from this point on:
If it were a vise job, the chin, nose and forehead would be facing the other way and incuse also - which it does not appear to be so.

The seller has almost 10,000 feedback points and at 100%...

Not a vise job, a soft die job.
