Thanks for the heads up. The Peace dollar is interesting, but I will wait until Black Friday.

Purchased the Allegory of Peace because of its uniqueness. Can't wait to see the actual coin.

Nothing for me as well. Still looking for a Charles lll "Classic Uncirculated Coin Set". They can make nice Xmas presents. Perhaps December?

@Sharks I don't believe the RCM roll out new releases in December. From now until then, RCM may release some international coins for the holiday season? could be wrong but my memory is mighty short lately. lloolll

Quote:The Peace dollar is interesting, but I will wait until Black Friday. Unlikely to make to Black Friday. Peace dollars usally sell out quickly. RCM already show the 5 oz Peace dollar as awaiting stock; even though the 5 oz has increased mintage from 1250 to 1650.

Quote: Still looking for a Charles lll "Classic Uncirculated Coin Set". IIRC, the Mint stated earlier this year that it would not be issuing such sets with Charles III until 2024. But maybe I'm misremembering...

How are you guys allowed to buy these coins 'early'? I called the RCM Monday (10/30/23) trying to buy a Peace dollar and they told me the coins wouldn't be available until next Monday (11/6/23). What level of 'buyer' gets the early buying power? I'm SILVER and $308 from being a GOLD member.

Thank-you! I just called the RCM again because I have the 'silver' ONE DAY early buy ability, and thought that maybe it was a one-day BUSINESS dated; so it might be available today. The girl told me that the items are for general purchase on TUESDAY of next week, not Monday, so my one-day 'bonus' is Monday.

Because I know they sell-out fast, I did a pre-order of the Peace dollar from CC&C (they're taking orders now for VIP members). I'll try to keep my 'Silver' membership at the Mint up to date by getting the Lunar Dragon next week - I have all 3 of the previous $15 Lunar series, so I'm working on #4 now . Aside from these 2 items, nothing else in this release really interests me.

Went online this morning (9:00am) and was able to get the 2024 Peace dollar. Too bad I missed out on the 2022 Peace dollar. It's one of the FIVE Canadian silver dollars I need for a complete set. I see it available every so often, but I'm not willing to pay the prices posted for it.
