This is only my second post and I already think I am just imagining things, LOL. This odd penny has me intrigued. I have been assuming that it is just damaged, but the closer I look at it the more I wonder. The "C"s are broken, the "A"s are damages and the shield on the back is off, too. The date is 18?2, as near as I can tell. How might this penny have been damaged like this?
