I'll get better or else!! I never give up.  BTW, Got home about an hour ago. Went to the Local big box Home improvement store and bought a brand new propane torch kit. and I finished soldering up the last fitting - now waiting for it to cool down so I can install the spout and test for leaks.. Also I do have a few spots that blistered up to 2nd degree burns.   Edited by Dearborn

Wow, you're lucky the 2nd degree burns weren't more extensive. Kudos to you for getting back in the saddle right away and finishing the job! Hope you heal up quickly!
