While the odds are astronomical, you are the only one who can decide, you need to weigh it!

Agree.... weight is the only way to determine. I rely on my food scale to weigh coins, bought it for under $20, comes in handy.

It's for sale on the web and I bought,I but all stuff under 10 bucks with pics like that and was just getting some opinions on what people think,we all here buy prospects now and then(I think) and probably do things different but a dark coin with many light coins could be a copper, just my way of thinking LOL.

I look forward to hearing what you get for a weight on that cent!

Ya weighting on the weight that's clever.

Probably bought way over 100 82D and 83 pennies over the years, lots of 65 dimes and quarters too,0 for 100 LOL,maybe my methodology wrong, did find a 92D Close AM though and some cool planchet errors.

Color really doesn't mean anything, the copper plated zinc cents tone just like the 95% copper cents.

Ya it's tough,if the pictures are super clear on the website and you can really blow up the pictures and some real magnification I find that the copper ones are much smoother than the zinc ones(just me that's what I found anyway). These are my reference pics I use when hunting.
