Doubling? From OF to the A in dollar and gap nose and forehead don't connect or touch. Just empty space.

On the reverse it is showing MD Machine Doubling which is a mechanical and not a Hub doubling. The gap on the upper nose is caused by excessive die polishing also known as an abraded die issue.

Pretty common for Kennedy half dollars to have MD, good to keep one for an example.
