Looks promising. Do you have a good photo of Liberty's eye and ear?

Edited to correct pickup points for this VAM

In my opinion difficult to know without good close up pics of both sides of the coin. It is an 8 tail feathers. If you haven't, go to Vamworld.com and see what a VAM 9 looks like, it has doubling of letters, stars, etc.

And the spot in the ear. Bad pictures but trying to not sound any alarm bells! #128519;

I checked ebay, looks like this coin is from seller morgandealer. Sorry if I'm an alarm bell for others to bid but morgandealer is known for doctoring fields with shadows using photo edit program to make coins look smoother shinier than they are. Several posts here on CCF about this seller...be careful...beware, in hand the coin will not look as high grade as pics so consider how much you are willing to bid knowing this. Here are seller pics. The shadows and bright areas look fabricated, not natural light/shadows at all in my opinion. Notice the shadows are in the same areas on both sides, like morgandealer uses the same shadows template to overlay on the coins....

Looks like someone used a pencil eraser on the surfaces.

I'm assuming it to be xf/AU details. They have refused to provide better pics. I'm more interested in it being a VAM 9 for the VAM run.

The eye and ear look right for VAM-9. And, the comma feather "appears" to be there. With these photos, I'm not sure I would go too high on a speculative bid. If this seller isn't above monkeying with the photographs, no telling what you will end up with.

Absolutely a VAM 9. The seller used a digital filter for the photos. The coin in hand will look much different.

I maxed out in the $330 range and someone wanted it more. Unfortunately, we shall never know what it actually looked like.
