I need your help, yesterday offer me this 1924 Peace dollar from the Philadelphia mint, the coin is great, the condition, the shine, the relief... everything is great, but I have found some small spots of copper oxide, and that is very negative to decide to buy it, will it be worth it? If it were any other coin, or even a Peace in very poor condition, I would cure the rust myself, but on such a beautiful coin I don't dare...I haven't been able to find an associated VAM, but I have found curious details like an extra lightning bolt on the Tiara (probably the eagle's tail) and a break that runs along the entire base of the neck...what do you think of all this?

Its a common date. looks to have MS sharpness but the luster appears non existent as if the coin may have been dipped. Better pics needed to evaluate correctly. Can you see any cartwheel luster when you tilt the coin under light?

I no longer have the coin to do more tests...when I saw the oxide I quickly removed it from my house. The shine of the coin was spectacular, standing out from the rest of my Peace coins, which are not that wonderful, but the difference was very noticeable...
