I think I see Mechanical Doubling on the reverse, but the pictures are not close or clear enough to be sure. Report this Post to the Staff
ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19159 Posts	Posted 11/18/2023 07:18 am Given the somewhat soft photos posted, I believe I'm seeing a common, circulated '83 Memorial cent. Toning is caused by exposure to environmental agents (the copper plating is very reactive). And yes, a very subtle obverse misaligned die it seems. Can't make out any doubling. The ring light is optional. The important part is that the phone autofocus is on a stationary object.
