I purchased a Whitman 20th Century Type Set over 10 years ago. I filled most of it with examples from circulation. I was working in a convenience store and had some silver show up. I had to stop for a long time due to regular life. But recently I have had a student who is highly interested in coins and got me interested in collecting again. I purchased 2 of the remaining coins and am now 2 Barber coins short of finally completing the set. I'm excited to finish and start the next project. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Congrats! It's a great and fun set to work on. I have one that I recently moved to a new album.

Thanks for posting that. Made me realise that I just need a Barber quarter to complete that set. I don't keep them in albums, so it never really jumped out at me before.

Next project is probably start to finish up my pre '61 Jeffersons.
I have about 20ish left for that album. Mostly low mintage years, I got them all from circulation.

I have a similar Whitman type folder, only older--it came out sometime in the 1970s. Instead of using my real birth date (1959) coins for the birth year type set, I used 1972 coins, since that was about when I began collecting.

Looking good. If you participate enough to enable forum email, then PM me and I'll send you the two missing Barber coins in about the same circulated state as what you already have. Let's call it a CCF Christmas gift.
