Hi I picked up this quarter the other day and after looking at it I thought it might be an error coin. Any input is appreciated. Thank you!

Ok I will take all your words for it. I thought it could be because of the way that the ridges some how wrapped around on to the face of the coin and that there is no damage to the other side of the coin. Thank you all for being here for people like me. Happy Thanksgiving!
