It's a heavily damaged coin.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

I see two identical photos that show one side of a badly damaged metal disc. If that was a coin it is no longer recognizable.

If it was a coin it did not leave the mint this way.

Make sure that the photos you upload have different file names - this is critical, just like you cannot have the same name in a directory on your computer.

But that said, no need to see the reverse here. This is all intentional damage

I yanked the ones in that post before they got too far gone. The day before, I had one that looked like thr one you posted above but didn't realize it was a coin until after I threw it away. I originally thought the one I pitched was part of a button part that fell off of some clothing.

Washing machine , mechanics shop or someone in their shop with a file and more,,, can damage a coin like this.

Agreed, just a heavily damaged coin. PMD. It's been sanded/grinded down.
