I just noticed 2 of my bicentennial quarters appear to have errors. I've compared them to others of the same mint and I see errors. However I realize this error thing is infinitely more complicated than just attention to detail

This one I don't think my pic does it justice but there's something going on with that S DD? It hangs low and seems disportionate

Bieder, there are definitely bicentennial varieties.

The 1976-D 25c FS-101 and FS-102 can be expensive coins. There are two DDO listed for 1976-S 25c proof quarters on Variety Vista. Also one RPM for 1976-D 25c.

There is one DDO for 1976-D 50c, and six for 1976-S 50c, including the FS-101 silver 50c. Also the 1976-S 50c FS-801 DDR found in proof sets.

Variety Vista lists one DDO and three DDR for 1976-S $1 clad and silver Eisenhower dollars.

Thank you everyone for the welcomes, and the feedback. I had discounted PMD because no evidence of damage to any other area. I've been a low key collector for some years. However I just recently started to pay attention to errors and searching for my first legit one. So I have way more to learn than learned! It's almost a sickness or bad habit, I can't force myself to spend any change without glassing it first. Also I'm not sure entirely why but I've handled way more older change in very good condition than ever in years past. Got several Buffalo nickels, one 1875 penny in bad shape and a proof condition 63 I think, Kennedy half in return from register change as well as gradable 60's and 70's pennys. Has anyone else experienced this?
