Can anyone help me confirm this 1961 D Lincoln Cent I recently found in a very old unopened bankroll. The whole roll was 1961D nearly uncirculated.it seems to have a die clash on the obverse at a 90° angle to the portrait.

@crow, this looks like you have uploaded the same picture four times. I'm guessing that you have started off with four different pictures, but gave them all the same filename. Please use different names for every picture file and then upload your others to this thread. If you meant to do this, then please add overall pictures of both sides to go with this close-up image. Thx.

Ok these pics help some, but I'd love to have you describe in words what you are seeing. Maybe you mean the parallel lines proceeding from the beginning of TRUST, past Abe's nose, and then down to the left of the date? Is that right or is it something else?

My guess with what we have to work with is tape residue. Maybe soak in acetone for a few minutes and see if it goes away.

Spence. The vertical line is what I'm seeing . I turned the coin 90° and took the close up pix. The pic with the partial T and the R looks like in between the letters is the curvature of the bottom of the right side of the monument. Like I said, this came out of an OLD roll. It was 100% 1961 D BU in amazing condition. Tinting on the enders and roll dye on the edges. So I don't know how circulated it's been. The roll was from Cleveland and pastel pink. Having said that, I thought the other close ups looked like there were some vertical lines and design elements that looks like parts of the monument as well

Not seeing a Die Clash, just Die Polishing Lines and possible residue.

Crowny, the base of the monument is recessed on the reverse die, as is Lincoln on the obverse die. It would seem that if this were a rotated die clash, it would not appear as a vertical bar but rather as a straight line. Also, it would not have shown in both the field to the right of Lincoln as well as on his chest. Also, the distance from the base of the monument to the rim at 6K is greater than the distance from the purported clash to the rim east of Lincoln.

Crowny,
Here is a link to MAD die clashes:https://www.maddieclashes.com/
I do see a die clash on that coin.
Did you find any other varieties or errors in the roll?
Tip: filter your light source.
