It's kind of amusing and sad how chunks of these things can just break off. Got in change a few minutes ago and probably the funniest worst example I've seen.

It's a shame that kids in the future won't find any cents dated after 1982 while digging in the yard.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

How funny!!!

The most compromised coinage I pull out of the ground is always Zinc Rots.

It's too bad that the LC's are made so cheap now.

I'm reminded of a few "rare errors" of similar vintage I found together a couple of months ago:
1988?-D-1c-Amazing-Error-Coin-Kidding! 1988?-D-1c-Amazing-Error-Coin-Kidding!
These aren't among the worst I've found either. "Nice" find, OP.

If I ever find any valuable Zincoln varieties, I am going to liquidate them promptly. One little scratch, and the zinc will start to degrade, push up a plating bubble, and poof, there goes your coin.
