I think XF45. A less conservative grader might go AU.

Four full diamonds, I'm at AU-55 or perhaps 58.

Must have better eyes than me (but that's not hard to do) - I can't see that 3rd diamond at all.
Wreath, ribbon bow, top shield lines, forelocks, lowest hair curls, and feathertips all show wear, and there are only a few traces of luster left, mostly on the reverse.

EF to AU. Some might say it's EF, others might say AU.

I have to say that I was surprised looking at other 1894 coins on ebay. Some of the asking prices were just crazy to me. I felt happy to get this coin at the price I paid, which I thought was very fair. |

your second obv and second rev photos are very good. whatever you did for lighting and focus thats what you want
grade wise i'd put it in the AU50 box
