This is my newest purchase. Also my first slabbed coin. NGC MS-61 Also my first eagle. Also my most expensive coin. Getting my feet wet in these nice coins.

Hi BB,
Nice acquisition! The '88-O is relatively available in low MS grade, despite its low mintage of 21,335 pieces. It is a good choice for a with motto, New Orleans eagle. I think it's a smart move to buy a coin like this in an NGC (or PCGS) slab to ensure it is authentic and hasn't been cleaned or abused. Congratulations!

Although the coin has several contact marks commensurate with the grade, this coin looks very nice with an above average strike. You can't go wrong with PCGS or NGC certified gold. Congrats
