I estimate it to be around 70% off-center judging by others I've seen online. I need some expert eyes to help with the grading and do you think its worth sending to be graded? Is that how much these sorts of things are selling for? If not, then it is definitely worth saving in a 2x2 or capsule for safekeeping. It is a beaut! Slabbed they run in the mid-forty dollar range, but slabbing an error would cost probably $40 at the cheapest after paying fees and shipping both ways so that's a loser. In general there are a lot of these quite strong, very attractive error coins out there, so the price just has never taken off. I sold this imperfect but still with strong eye appeal 1974-D last week. It is broad struck with an indent. Final price? $14.50 + $3 shipping. Report this Post to the Staff
