Hello, a newbie here. I know very little about the hobby and even less about Canadian coins, however, I have recently acquired a couple. One is a 1976 1 Franc piece, another is a 1992 five pence, three ten cent pieces (1986, 1992, 1993). Do these have any value? I hope this is in the right forum. Thanks for any help.

Canadian coins are in dollars and cents, just like US coins, so some of those aren't Canadian - the 1976 franc is likely to be French or Swiss. The 5 pence is most likely British.

Assuming the 10 cents are the ones with the ship on, they're Canadian and worth 10 cents, in Canada (or 10 cents US if you're shifty! ) The 1992 should be one of the "dual-dated" commemorative ones for Canada's 125th anniversary? Even so, unless any of these coins are proof or Unc, they're not worth terribly much. Sorry.

They're still interesting to world coin collectors, though!

Thanks for the reply. I am not too terribly hung up on values of my coins. I really collect for the enjoyment and for the history involved. Still, it is nice just to check. LOL.
