1977 D Roosevelt Dime With Copper Stripe On Back

TrainorSW New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 12/09/2023 12:06 pm Hello, I have a dime that has a copper stripe on the back and a striking divot above the "D" in United States. I've saved this for many years because I thought it was interesting; I rediscovered it recently and am curious if it has any value either than the obvious $.10. I did an image search on Google and did not see anything similar to it. I would sincerely appreciate your thoughts and comments. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

TrainorSW New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 12/09/2023 4:52 pm I took it to a jeweler and they weighed it at 2.266 grams. I've attached pics of the sides with the stripe oriented from 12:00 to 6:00. You can see in the one that it is noticeably thinner and, generally, only two layers are apparent.
