Here's another note that I really liked - love the agriculture/industry on the reverse with the horse-drawn reaper. Thinking about bidding on it. Not great seller's pictures. Ungraded. What say you all?

Always difficult to grade paper money from scans. Looks like mid-high VF here, but low confidence factor. Very common district and FR-#.

Another nice one. Has 1 central fold and a few edge folds so VF25-35 based on the pictures. I like it. Fairly bright color also which reduces the likely hood this note was washed/processed. This is a fairly common note (in that large sized notes aren't very common).

I would say $125-$175 in value. I'm putting a large range in value as it's hard to accurately grade from pictures.

These have also gone up a lot, I have one also raw that I paid $75 a few years ago (mine is VF25)

I agree with Helder and Mr.Frog. Ask your seller for photos with side lighting. It works well for detecting hidden folds.

Thanks for that tip, Steve. Passed my high bid, so I'm out. Curious to see what it finally sells for.

@Blastpene4,

Here is a really nice $5 in MS grade and a really good price.

I know the seller also and recommend him.

If you want $10, check out Action Currency, he has good prices (better than ebay) and a nice selection (all graded).

Considering you can get a graded one in VF35 for $250 and a VF30 for $195, the final price seems high.
