Hello, I found a 1995 D penny that looks like ridges on the pillar. I'm new to this hobby and still trying to work out the difference between mint error and possible damage. (The image is flipped because of my microscope)

to the forum! They could be small die chips but looks more like plating issues, corrosion under the copper.

Plating bubbles. It helps if you post pictures of the entire coin, front & back.
